Admissions Process
Earn Up provides resources on the secondary education admissions process. While the task seems overwhelming and stressful, it can be broken down into manageable parts. Once you have researched and reflected on what you want to study and the types of jobs you’ll qualify for based on that program of study, take the required standardized tests that will help facilitate college admissions. To do this, Career Pathways will showcase the region’s target and support industries, the companies within those industries, and the ways you can plug into those industries.
Earn Up emphasizes post-secondary completion by maximizing financial resources, so complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Check out Earn Up’s Financial Aid page for more. Completing the FAFSA is an initial step in seeking Pell grants and other valuable scholarships that can reduce or eliminate the expenses involved in pursuing a college degree. Understanding this aspect of your education will be a useful tool when considering the admissions process as well.
