Who we are

Earn Up, powered by JAXUSA Partnership, facilitates workforce development opportunities for a growing collaborative of regional partners to share best practices and engage in projects that build a robust talent ecosystem in Northeast Florida. We work in concert with leading companies in the Jacksonville region and organizations that are new to the area to understand their workforce needs and connect with high schools, colleges and trade schools to make sure their curricula meet those requirements. We also support adult learners and veterans as they form new career paths or expand their skills.

What we do

Our three-pronged approach of talent development, recruitment and retention focuses on ensuring a sustainable, thriving workforce ecosystem in Jacksonville’s seven county region. We are about coordination among employers, educators and regional skilled development programs, the Jacksonville region is streamlining the transition from classroom to career.

The following core strategies represent key areas of focus for our regional work.

Facilitate the Talent Advancement Network (TAN)– a collaboration of regional HR professionals and higher education administrators that work to create a stronger talent pipeline through work-based learning, workforce briefings and events that allow industry professionals to engage with the talent in our communities.

Facilitate Talent Advancement Partnership (TAP) – a partnership for all 7 Northeast Florida secondary school districts to increase communication and advance learning via sharing labor market information and engaging in pilot projects that support talent advancement and ensure development of appropriate and relevant curriculum.

Create and promote regional Career Pathways collateral for use by all segments of our regional career pathways collateral. Our Career Pathways initiative provides a thorough understanding of the target and support industries in Northeast Florida, opportunities for degree and certification attainment and the job opportunities and wages corresponding to these industries.

Build awareness and support for credential attainment and increased employment initiatives through FAFSA events, veteran and military family activities as well as engagement with community-based organizations.
